Huawei-3Com's Endpoint Admission Defense is recently awarded "The Best E-finance Application solution in China" organized by "China E-finance Forum 2005" in Beijing .

"China E-finance Forum" is an important event in the finance and information technology industry, the focus for 2005 forum is "more effective, more secure" modernized e-finance tactics, tools, services and value-added solutions, with special highlights on the technological advancements of e-finance in China. After rounds of stringent review, Huawei-3Com's Endpoint Admission Defense (EAD) won the award.

EAD is a brand new end-to-end security system, imposing compulsory security policy into the access terminals. This policy can effectively centralize management of the access terminals of financial institutions, enhance the proactive defense ability of network terminals and facilitate a "Self Immunity" mechanism. An all-round security for the finance network is therefore greatly enhanced with a scientific risk management at the same time further lowering the cost of security maintenance. The EAD not only is significant to boost the financial network security, but also widely applicable to other industries.
