Thailand PSU Campus Network
The university was seeking to upgrade their network to provide high bandwidth, QoS, high security, high reliability. It needed a robust network with GE and 100M connections between departmental hubs, and external connections of between 4Mb and 100Mb. The school is now planning a five-year expansion and is considering using 10GE technology.
The core network includes two 10GE links between 2 sets of H3C S9512 routing switches. The aggregation layer uses the high port density S7500 series switches. With the S7500 series' high speed, high-density capacity and up to 10GE uplink to the core, the S7500 series switches ideally fit into the PSU's aggregation layer which contains dozen of Gigabit Ethernet building hubs and sever farms. At the edge, high speed and stackable S5624s were added.
The Prince of Songkla University took major steps to enhance its campus network. By taking an evolutionary route to enhancing its network performance, PSU has made good use of its IT budget. By selecting Huawei-3Com as its IT partner, the university has a provider with a broad product portfolio and expertise in building campus networks.

China Construction Bank
China Construction Bank was founded in 1954, is a leading bank in the PRC with branches in 38 provinces and cities. China Construction Bank Hebei Branch owns one of the 17 national first-class networks. It had started province-wide POS business, call centers and IP banking, owning 21,000 network centers for its organization, over 9,000 sets of ATM and 260 total functions self-serving banks. It was ranked top 28th in first class capitalized value amongst the 1,000 banks in "The Banker" magazine of England in July 2002.
ServerFarm project: the construction bank wanted to reform the IT bank service infrastructure. It undertook massive new service deployment in the general headquarters, and took steps to ensure not only that the network is future-proof, but can also co-ordinate services and use advanced applications. The project success further strengthened the China Construction Bank strength in the banking industry's fierce competition.
In order to guarantee the project success, H3C has invested massive resources and participated in its foundation network construction work, involving service application systems including BDB、EAI、CCI and UDI.The ServerFarm network is constructed according to modular network mentality, using approximately 50 sets of H3C S9512 switches.

France's PSA Peugeot Citroën
France's PSA Peugeot Citroën (PSA) is a leading global automaker, selling cars and trucks in over 150 countries around the world. PSA wanted to build a sophisticated, feature-rich network constructed for its new office facility named "Pole Tertiaire 2" (PT2) near Paris. Huawei-3Com equipped PT2 with a dependable, high-speed office automation network that enabled the company to deploy integrated VoIP and data services over a single network architecture. With 10GE switches in the distribution layer, the PT2 network offers up to 292 GE interfaces for GE-to-desktop connections and eliminates the need for a separate access layer. The new building-wide network has outstanding performance, with a switch fabric capacity of 300Gbps and L3 packet throughput of 180Mpps.
