H3C S7500 Series
The H3C S7500 Series high-end multi-service switch features high performance, high port density and high flexibility. It can be applied to the core layer of enterprise and campus networks and education MANs, and to the convergence layer of a carrier's IP MAN, and to the access layer of data centers. H3C S5100 Series
H3C S5100 Series Ethernet switches are new Gigabit Ethernet switching products that fulfill an enterprise customer's requirement of deploying a unified, highly resilient network. The S5100 switches represent the next generation of desktop switches. They provide high-density GE ports, 10GE uplink, a variety of service features and powerful QACL functionality and can be used in convergence and access devices for intranets and MANs. The S5100 switch can also be used for connecting data center server clusters with high availability, as well as scalability.
2. H3C 10GE Solution
The diagram below shows the typical 10GE network solution offered by H3C. In the core layer, there are two S9500's installed for redundancy, connected by dual 10GE links for extra reliability and high performance. Both of the core switches are dual honed to the switches in the distribution layer, where there is usually one S7500 and two S5600 switches. The S7500 has extremely high performance for the distribution layer, while the S5600 switches are highly scalable due to their industry leading stacking technology. At the access layer are S5100 switches, which have 10GE uplinks, which enables the entire network to run on 10GE technology. The S5100 switches have Gigabit downlink ports meaning that H3C can offer Gigabit-to-Desktop solutions in parallel to its 10GE solution.
