Huawei-3Com has provided the company with a network solution designed to integrate the communications platform for Skyworth's Science Park in Shiyan, Shenzhen. Skyworth's flat display Science Park will be the largest digital display facility in China. Skyworth and Huawei-3Com faced the challenge of building an integrated IP network to satisfy its business needs and support its different product lines, while finding ways to reduce its operating costs has become a core issue the company has to deal with.

Huawei-3Com's XE200/2000 can connect and integrate voice facilities to a network which is easy to maintain, manage and upgrade. Other self-developed VoIP systems of Huawei-3Com's including VG80-20, VG20-32, VG20-16 and VG21-08 were deployed to cover all facets of the IT communications infrastructure including image, voice, data and IP phone services. This has helped Skyworth achieve increased network connectivity, ease of management, security and scalability with improved traffic flow management enabling the use of IP phones, resulting in improved speech quality and significantly reduced costs.
