Recently, Huawei-3Com successfully held its 2006 annual meeting in Sanya, Hainan, China for its authorized training centers, with participants from the Huawei-3Com training center leadership team and 20 other representatives from the various training centers across China. Thomson Prometric, a computerized examination accreditation service company, was also invited as a featured attendee.
At the meeting, Huawei-3Com presented a summary of overall training progress achieved in 2005 and outlined a clear set of objectives for 2006. Meanwhile, Huawei-3Com presented talks on its new marketing policy, the management staff appraisal policy and the new accreditation projects for this year. In 2006, Huawei-3Com expects to approve a series of measures to make even more room for the development of training, such as implementing the "More Contribution Means More Rewards" incentive program. While making strong achievements in training, the company will continue to place emphasis on the quality of training as a key priority.
In order to appreciate the efforts of its Chinese training partners and encourage them to continue to achieve their best results in training, an assessment and selection process was conducted to select the best training centers, accredited lecturers and center management staff by Huawei-3Com at this year's annual meeting. Zhejiang Huawei achieved the "Golden Partner" title, while Xiaotong Network was conferred a "Silver Partner" title. Also at the meeting, 10 accredited Huawei-3Com lecturers and five center management staff were recognized for their excellence.
The annual meeting was also an outspoken session for the training center representatives, where they shared their experiences in teaching, career development and service support. The representative from Thomson Prometric gave an analytical presentation on the current situation in the IT market and expressed every confidence in the development of Huawei-3Com's accreditation services. A key learning taken away from the in-depth exchanges and discussions was that in spite of their success, there was still plenty of room for cooperation for further development of the support centers to aid in regional training programs.
With its long history of training excellence, Huawei-3Com has become an authoritative accreditation service for the IT industry. With the number of accredited training centers rising to 26, the company has established a first-class domestic team of accredited large-scale network technology experts. In 2005, more than 40,000 individuals from more than 40 countries had undergone training at the centers, and more than 20,000 people were awarded accredited certifications. Huawei-3Com is enthusiastic about the application of technology while strengthening cooperation with its partners through activities like the annual training center meeting. This year's meeting saw participants agree that the experience truly lived up to its central theme: "Hand in hand, a win-win situation and opportunity to add value."
