IT applications are the new focus for the coal industry. Huawei-3Com has recently begun a major IT infrastructure project with the Shanxi Coking (Group) Co., Ltd, China's largest coke company. This project involves the construction of a high-speed and secure network enabling advanced connectivity between the SCG's headquarters and its subsidiaries. Huawei-3Com's network solutions and products are widely used by major coal companies including Heilongjiang Coal Group, Shandong Feikuang Ores Group and Xinjiang Xinkuang Group.
